General Information

All goods must be composed of a minimum of 75% recycled materials. The bulk of the material used must be material that would have been discarded were it not repurposed.

Successful applications should show creatively in transforming the material into something new and original.

*An entry fee of $175.00 is due upon acceptance into the festival to offset costs of the tent, table and chairs. Sorry, no refunds available.

Applications must be received no later than February 15, 2024

Acceptance Notification

Vendors will be notified of acceptance into the Earth Day Festival Arts & Crafts by March 1, 2024.

Digital Requirements

File size should not exceed 2MB. Title each jpeg as follows:

First four letters of LAST NAME, First, initial, title or description. The number of images should be adequate to give a general sense of your work. They do not need to be of professional quality. Please release images that you are willing to have used in social media and promotions.

Early Drop Off, Saturday April 20, 2024
You may set up your booth between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm the day before the festival - Saturday, April 20.

Check-in and Set Up, Sunday, April 21, 2024
Check-in begins at 7:00 am. All vendors must be checked-in and set up by 9:00 am. No exceptions. There will be volunteers to help you with loading and unloading.

Vendors may not close their booth before 4:00 pm. and booth space must be completely cleared by 7:00 pm. No exceptions.

Booths

The Recycle Arts & Crafts takes place on the grounds of Balloon Fiesta Park, 4401 Alameda Boulevard N.E. Albuquerque, NM 87113. Each booth space is 10 by 10 feet and includes 1 8ft Table and two folding chairs. Conditions vary on the grounds, from lawn to cement.

Zero Waste Challenge
The fair is a zero-waste event, meaning that we do not produce landfill waste. Compost and recycling receptacles will be provided at the fair. Vendors should familiarize themselves with zero waste policies and help us achieve this challenge.

Food and Water
Vendors selling or sampling food or beverages are required to use recyclable or biodegradable/compostable service ware. Bottled water is not permitted at the fair.

Paper Products and Promotional Material
Vendors are encouraged to minimize, shrink and/or reduce the amount of paper handouts they offer. QR codes are encourage for distributing information to the participants. Consider the long-term use of giveaways and limit them to items that our guests are highly likely to use. No individually wrapped give-away items are allowed unless pre-approved.

Agreement of Entry & Liability

The Earth Day Festival NM reserves the right to reproduce accepted art & crafts work for publicity purposes. Neither Earth Day Festival or the City of Albuquerque is responsible for any artwork left at the Balloon Fiesta Park. Your entry constitutes acceptance of all conditions and terms in this prospectus. It is the artist’s responsibility to adhere to all deadlines.
